Billie Joe Experience was a short-lived secret side project of Green Day.
History
Billie Joe Experience was formed in 1994 to release an instrumental song titled "Rox Yer Ass" on the Life Without Spot compilation album to help raise money for the Food Not Bombs anti-war/vegan food benefit. Despite Green Day never playing under this name again after the initital release, the song "Rox Yer Ass" would later be re-recorded for the demo of their third studio album, Dookie although it would ultimately be cut from the final pressing leaving this as the only official release of the song.
