Aaron Elliott, better known professionally as Aaron Cometbus, was the third drummer for Green Day. He is also the drummer for Pinhead Gunpowder and is known as the author of the long-running punk magazine Cometbus.

Green Day[]
Aaron was a roadie for Green Day in their early years. He provided additional vocals and 'teeth noise' on Green Day's cover of "Knowledge". He played 3 shows with Green Day on drums after John Kiffmeyer left the band in 1990 before leaving the band and being replaced by Tré Cool.
Aaron returned as a roadie for Green Day during the January 2010 tour in China. In 2011, he released an issue of Cometbus where he talks about his experiences with Green Day on the tour.
